- 7 oz (200g) feta, at room temperature
- 3 1/2 oz (100g) ricotta, at room temperature
- 1 1/2 (70g) sour cream, at room temperature
- 1/2 teaspoon salt and black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon crushed red chili flakes, optional
- chopped chives (optional)
- 1 teaspoon za’atar
- 1 teaspoon toasted black and white sesame seeds
CREAMY FETA DIP RECIPE
This creamy feta dip is a quick and easy appetizer you can serve over anything: tortillas, pita chips, fresh pita bread, sliced baguette, you name it! It’s refreshing, and the creamy texture blends so well with anything crispy! Feel free to add more toppings to the whipped feta dip and show your creativity to your guests! We like to serve the feta dip drizzled with more olive oil and a sprinkle of za’atar, pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, chives, and toasted sesame seeds.
DIRECTIONS
1. To make the whipped feta dip: Add feta, ricotta, and sour cream to a food processor. Season with salt and pepper and blend on high until smooth, about 2-3 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
2. In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium-low. Add minced garlic and sauté over low heat until soft. Turn off the heat. Stir in lemon juice, za’atar, sesame seeds, and chili flakes.
3. Add the garlic, olive oil, and lemon mixture to the whipped feta and stir well until smooth. Top with chives and serve the whipped feta dip with corn tortillas, pita chips, naan, or a veggie platter. Enjoy! ❤️
